SAE systems

Operations support for public transport operators.

FleetAware supplies operations support systems to public transport operators: the position of every vehicle, deviation from the planned timetable, alerts and history, in a single panel.

Product

What the operator needs to know, without looking for it.

Six components, one panel. Real time, history and reports over the same data.

Line monitoring

The spine of the line with every stop and branch, and each vehicle progressing along it.

Network map

The whole operation on a map, with fare zones, parish boundaries and the planned route against the one actually run.

Operations alerts

Route deviation, delay, early departure, services running too close together, loss of communication. With a resolution flow.

History by element

Line, service, vehicle, driver and duty, by day type and season of the year.

Indicators and reports

Operating indicators in real time. Any table exports to Excel or CSV.

Integration

Planning tool, ticketing and public information displays.

Artificial intelligence

Models applied to the network's own data.

Prediction comes from what the network measures, not from the timetable. Dispatch always decides.

  1. Arrival prediction

    In production

Estimated time per stop from 30 days of history at control points on the line itself, corrected in real time by the running vehicle's deviation.

  2. Delay detected before it happens

    In production

The deviation measured at the control point is projected onto the following stops, flagging probable non-compliance before the vehicle gets there.

  3. Vehicle bunching

    In development

Identifies services converging on the same stop and proposes the headway adjustment.

  4. Alert priority

    In development

Orders open alerts by passenger impact, so dispatch handles what counts first.

  5. Patterns in history

    In development

Points out stops, duties and hours that fail repeatedly, with the associated average deviation.

  6. Natural language search

    In development

Written questions about the operation — "line 7 delays over the last week" — return the corresponding table. Interpretation runs on external models, with no training on operator data.
